The MetaCancer Foundation provides funding for initiatives that address the psychosocial needs of metastatic cancer survivors and their caregivers, primarily by providing content and resources through this website.
Current Grants:
- Kansas University Fellowship: The University of Kansas Cancer Center's Breast Cancer Survivorship Center: MetaCancer's funding of the Elizabeth Prostic Post-Doctoral Fellowship enables psychologists to acquire knowledge and skills in the psychosocial care of patients and families at metastatic and other stages of cancer
- Turning Point: The Center for Hope and Healing: Partnership to create and implement innovative new initiatives that address the unique psychosocial issues related to living with metastatic cancers. The grant provides funding for support groups, workshops, and art therapy at Turning Point, while also leading to the development of new content for www.metacancer.org.

University of Pennsylvania: Elizabeth Anne Prostic Memorial Research Grant for graduate students researching psychosocial issues related to living with metastatic cancers.

Truman Medical Center: MetaCancer funds provided for audio/visual equipment, a computer workstation, and relevant resources for underprivileged cancer patients and caregivers at the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.
- The Wellness Community: MetaCancer funds provided for an online support group through The Virtual Wellness Community for metastatic cancer patients.
